Green in color, this is a continental white with a concentrated nose of oak, green apple and hint of hazelnut. It offers good heft and heightened freshness, and the flavors are profound, emphasized by the oaky finish. 90 pts Wine Spectator Presents engaging aromas of toasted almond, hyacinth and spiced pear that lead to a round palate of baked apple, with notes of preserved lemon and mineral acidity lending tension midpalate.
