| Description: | Made from the classic Basque grape Hondarrabi Zuri, with 5% Gros Manseng. As is always the case with Txakoli, there's a slight spritz on the palate which adds to the refreshing zestiness of the wine. And refreshing is the key word: alcohol is low (12%), acidity is high and crisp and gives the wine a steely, stony texture. On top of that there are fresh apple aromas with a bit of weight from some lees stirring. Pour from high and drink with seafood. |
