Equilibrio - Monastrell & Syrah Blend 2019 available at Magruder's of Dc in Washington, Dc
Dark, sappy, sweet fruit with lots of spice. Bold but not heavy on the palate, with engaging acidity, firm but well-integrated tannins, and hints of smoke and pepper into the finish.
TW very intensely aromatic with ripe red berry fruit mingling with pleasant toasty hints brought by the barrel. Also spicy hints, soft jammy cherry notes.
Dark, sweet, juicy fruit, with notes of bramble, blackberry jam, licorice, pepper, and cinnamon. Full-bodied and balanced, with chewy tannins and a pleasing woodsiness on the finish.
