| Description: | Rossese di Dolceacqua is a local variant of Tibouren, originally from Provence. The wine is very "Mediterranean" in that it emphasizes what wine people call "garrigue." This refers to the brush, the rosemary, the bushes, and all the smells this sort of flora lends to many Mediterranean wines--especially the reds. Add to this red berries and a lithe texture and you'll see why these wines are made for seafood. |
