| Description: | This is the flagship bottling of this benchmark historic producer of Albarino. The first vintage goes back to 1928, and while the label design is the same, the winemaking has only improved. Located in the verdent Salnes Valley of Rias Baixas, proprietor Juan Gil de Araujo Gonzales de Careaga looks for a classical style of Albarino. This shows the tension between fleshiness and firmness, floral-tinged fruits with a saline, crushed rock minerality and a drier finish than an average Spanish Albarino.
