| Description: | Tequila 7 leguas was launched in the United States and that is a great thing for us tequila lovers. In 1952 Don Ignacio Gonzalez Vargas began making this tequila. Now his widow Sra. Amparo de Anda is at the reigns of producing the tequila with their seven children also helping. This 100% Agave Tequila is unique because they combine agave juice that they extract form their two distilleries and combine to make one exceptional tequila. Their Anejo is aged for 18 months in oak and has a beautiful medium golden hue. The nose is floral and pungent all at the same time with solid minerality. The body is rich with honeydew melon, Carmel oak and earthy tones. The finish is smooth and pronounced with citrus, white pepper and mineralty. This is a very traditional style Tequila that has all the qualities one would look for in a top shelf tequila and is a must have for any Tequila lover. |
