| Description: | Biodynamic, Organic. A blend of white Rhne varietals may include Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Vermentino (usually known as Rlle in France), Ugni Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, and others depending on where the wine is produced, and the quantity of each variety grown in a producer's vineyard. Grapes of the different varieties are blended to develop the best wine in any given vintage, so there is not a standard recipe. In the glass, the wine has a limpid, pale green-gold color. Delicate aromas of peach blossoms, Anjou pears, and marzipan alternate with white peaches, honeyed citrus, and fleeting suggestions of jasmine and sun-dried macadamias as the nose evolves in the glass. On the palate, the wine has an elegant, almost creamy mouthfeel, with a layered, mineral-laced core of yellow orchard fruit flavors that echo the nose, and a long, clean finish punctuated with seawater mineral grip and fresh fruit acidity. |
