| Description: | 100% Trebbiano Spoletino. This is a traditionally-styled white from a small family winery. It has a notable viscous concentration for its medium weight (they aim for later harvests and let the juice and skins mingle before fermentation), while sapid mineral sensations and soft tangy acidity provide some sense of form of flow. This is a true wine of its specific region: Montefalco in Umbria! A deep yellow tells of plentiful content from the skins, yielding aromas of ripe apple/pear/melon along with some tropical notes, pungent flower (like hawthorne). On the palate, there's a savory side and a light grip throughout the slightly viscous fruit, finishing dryly with lingering nutty, fruity notes. |
