| Description: | Wine maker notes Lodi is located in the central valley of Californiaand is cooler than either the northern or southern halves of the valley. As a result, grapes from Lodi tend to produce wines at the fleshy, plummy, ripe end of the flavor spectrum. This wine is blended using Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petite Sirah we carefully selected from our best barrel batches. Combining these different batches and grape varieties has produced this delicious wine with complementary characteristics. This wine is medium bodied, smooth and beautifully balanced. Food pairing Our Bearitage Lodi Red Wine is an excellent complement to bar-b-qued beef, pork and chicken dishes. It is also a perfect pairing with Italian red-sauce pasta cuisine. Producer Haraszthy Family Cellars specializes exclusively in the production of hand-crafted Zinfandels. Zinfandel is known as the chameleon of wine grapes. Its very versatile and lends itself to a range of styles within the varietal itself. All our Zinfandels pair wonderfully with a wide variety of cuisinesor they stand up well alone. |
