Exploring the possibilities of agave and woods, our tequila is gently rested in New Mizunara oak casks, a rare oak native to Japan and traditionally used for aging Japanese whiskies. Characterized by their twisting trunks and branches, these ancient trees can grow up to 200 years, resulting in denser staves, which are then handcrafted into the highest quality casks in Japan. Casa Dragones 100% Blue Agave Reposado Tequila perfectly balances the minerality of the agave with the soft, sweet notes of Mizunara oak, delivering aromas of orange blossom and oak with hints of honey. On the palate, this delicately rested tequila has mild notes of apricot and butterscotch leading to a long, warm finish with coffee bean and mellow spice, for a refind, elegant sweetness that defies the ordinary. |
