| Description: | The Lafalise-Froissart house is located in the heart of Verzenay with a lineage going back to the French Revolution. The grapes have been sold to the big houses for years, but in 2019 focus turned to low dosage growers Champagne. A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay with a slightly oxidized quality of apples and pears, with riper tropical notes of mangos and papayas. The acidity is a bright and intense balance to the rich fruit with toasty qualities, lemon/lime, extremely fine bubbles and medium brioche. |
