Nabeshima "AIYAMA" Junmai Daiginjo Sake 720ml

Nabeshima "AIYAMA" Junmai Daiginjo Sake 720ml

Description: Prefecture: Saga. Sake Meter Value: -6 (luscious, fruity, lightly sweet). Sake Polishing Ratio: 45%. Rice Variety: Aiyama. Nabeshima, a cult-level sake producer makes this beautiful and opulent sake on the fruitier side, with notes of apple, jackfruit, ripe grapefruit, hibiscus, papaya, mochi, melon soda, and fennel. The sake is medium-bodied in texture with a soft and lingering finish. It looks and tastes luxurious. Fukuchiyo Shuzo was founded in 1924 and is located in the town of Kashima south of Saga City. The Kuramoto (Brewery Owner) Naoki Iimori is also the Toji (Master Brewer) and his aim is to create sake that tastes unique, vibrant and fresh. One of the ways Iimori-san does this is by brewing his sake at low temperatures over a slightly longer period than usual. The Nabeshima 'Aiyama' is made with Aiyama rice grown in Saga prefecture. A elegant yet focused sake with sweet bold fruit and a fine impeccably balanced finish. Perfect for drinking by itself or matched with delicate, refined dishes.
