| Description: | The 2018 Cosecha was picked in 2018 and rested for two years in stainless steel, with agave coming from the Las Antenas orchard in Vista Hermosa, Michoacán. This mineral-rich location makes the 2018 stand apart. On the nose I'm picking up minerals, agave, brine, citrus, and floral notes that I didn't get as much in the 2013. Flavor-wise, there's agave of course. But the minerals come through in something like wet cement, along with the citrus, brine, olive, and cinnamon. This one is also sweet and silky in the mouth, but is a bit more floral and delicate than the 2013. Excellent! |
