Climate trend: A fairly regular year both in terms of rainfalls and seasonal temperatures, even if summer confirms the drought and heat trend of the last four years. The very rainy May did not compromise the development of plants and fruits, which after a scarce vintage, were abundant and the earth managed itself with even a few rains until the beginning of September, when an precipitation accelerated the ripening and our harvest time. For the first time we have increased the harvesting team to ensure the grapes were picked at a perfect ripening point. The production balance and our respectful care have allowed us to consider 2018 as an excellent Vintage. Winemaking technique: Peel-to-must maceration for a few hours. Pressing. Fermentation. and transfusions at natural autumn temperature. 9 months on fine scum. Assembly. in the tub of Verona's red Marmo. Alcohol: 13.70% vol. Total acidity: 6.10. Ph: 3.24.
