Blanquette de Limoux Brut NV Domaine de Martinolles âLe Berceauâ 750ml
Description: | Description : A sparkling, fruity, light/medium-body wine, Blanquette de Limoux is the traditional and most distinctive fizz from Limoux -- a higher elevation enclave within the Languedoc region of Southern France. Made primarily from Mauzac, which is a distinctive local grape with apple-skin aromas; it is a unique departure from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, in the style of champagne. Dry, creamy texture with subtle green apple, lemon and a clean finish. Methode Ancestrale (ancient method) is the oldest way to produce sparkling wines, with both the 1st and 2nd fermentation taking place in the bottle, defiantly leaving cloudy sediment in the bottle. Food pairing: Aperitif, robust food, aged cheese, etc. |
