| Description: | Sourced from a vineyard near Los Alamos in Santa Barbara, the vines planted in the 1960's are rooted in an extremely sandy soil. The vineyards proximity to the ocean shows with tactile acidity and tart green fruit crispness. A 24-hour soak on the skins adds richness and orange zest with a little grapefruit mustiness. An intense wine with a dusty concrete/ crushed gravelly acidity, showing a sense of place. |
