| Description: | The Tonella family have been farming in Napa Valley for over 100 years, the first two generations working for many years at Beaulieu Vineyards. The family started making their own wine in 2010, and with that long Napa history it's no surprise they're off to a flying start. An intense, brooding wine packed with blackberry, blueberry and dried fruits, vanilla, anise, and sweet spices, with the soft and subtle tannins on the palate backing up the rich, round mouthfeel. A somewhat delicate mid-palate shows restraint, letting the fruit do the talking rather than the winemakers hand. A wine that's going to develop and develop. |
