Hartmann describes the grape as, "simple, primitive, slightly rough and crude", and prefers to refine the wine in wooden barrels for a year. Syrah-like qualities of smoke, roasted meats, round fruit, red plum and a plush well-balanced acidity. A wine like nothing you have had before! |
