Nose: Oranges and mandarins, fresh peeled mandarins, spiced biscuits, apricots, flowers, nuts, zesty. The oranges and mandarins and apricots are abundant. A very nice nose! All coated in honey and a touch of vanilla. Palate: It starts with the oranges and mandarins again, apricots, there is some kind of bitternes in there and spicy. Pepper of chilli is surfacing. Some raisins in there. I can sense the sherry and bourbon casks used. Finish: A thick mouthfeel, a little bit chewy but definitely mouth coating. Caramel, sugar and honey. Little bit of spiciness left in the finish. Mouth watering. |
