The famous varietals used in the legendary Bordeaux blends of château Latour and Lafite, La Petite Bilaude mixes traditional and modern wine-making methods to create a ripe and dense red wine. Utilizing hot maceration, this Cab-Merlot blend has enhanced fruity aromas, an extracted color, and soft tannins. The Merlot and the Cabernet are actually aged separately, as the Merlot is aged with American Oak while the Cabernet is aged with French Oak. La Petite Bilaude Merlot-Cabernet has distinct characteristics of each varietal. From the redy berry and pepper aromas to the smooth and silky tannins that linger with vanilla and coconut from the oak, this bottle combines the best of each varietal. Enjoy this wine at room temperature with a rack of lamb, rabbit stew, and chocolate mousse. |
