He recently ripped up the remainder of his Gewurztraminer in order to plant additional Gruner Veltliner, a variety he sees tremendous potential in here. A rare treat to find on this other side of border from Austria! Aging in neutral Acacia barrels with extended lees contact provides a bit more richness than you might anticipate.
