Zaku Junmai Daiginjo Kaizan Ittekisui Sake 750ml
Description: | Prefecture: Mie. Sake Meter Value: (Neutral). Polishing rate: 40%. Rice variety: Yamadanishiki. This is a thrilling sake that we have recently become obsessed over. Zaku, coincidentally is in the same prefecture as Jikon, and taste-wise, they share more similarities. This beautiful Daiginjo has gorgeous ripe strawberry, papaya, and pineapple flowing together in harmony like classical music. The structure is streamlined and elegant with a glistening, mineral finish. "ittekisui" means "one drop of water" and refers to the teaching that the existence of all mountains, rivers, plants, and trees embodies all things around us, and that even a 'single drop of water' contains the life of Buddha. |
