Terrain which might appear pretty unaccommodating to most creatures gives these grapes the perfect environment to do their best work. Rising to the occasion in the rocky, windswept vineyards of the Sardegna, the vines find themselves in the capable hands of Antonio Sanguineti. In his youth, Sanguineti lost his ancestral Tuscan vineyards following familial disputes over land. He now relishes the opportunity to put his knowledge of and passion for winegrowing to work in Sardegna. Serving Suggestion: Pan-seared kogi beef steak w/ salad of fregola (or, similarly, couscous), chives, parsley, roasted red pepper, & oil-cured olives. Flavorful sheep's milk cheeses. |
