Walter Scott Bois-Moi Rosé
Pinot noir Rosé
Vintage: | 2020 |
---|---|
Description: | This is tasty rosé! And with no qualifiers or caveats. So often Oregon pink wines miss the mark–too much fruit sweetness, not enough acidity, a combination and more. But our Walter Scott buddies crushed it just like we crushed our bottle of Bois-Moi. Like the words mean in French, "Drink Me" we will. 90% Pinot noir from Freedom Hill and Justice vineyards, plus 10% Gamay from Arlyn vineyard. The fruit was pressed gently then settled and racked repeatedly to ensure its pristine purity. The Rosé was fermented with ambient yeast and aged in neutral barrels for 5 months. The resulting rosé is fresh and crisp with a delicate pastel pink color. The inviting nose suggests a touch of flint, cherry blossoms, and zesty oranges while the palate delivers crunchy red berries. The delicate fruit and bright acidity all come together |
