Chateau Lalande makes it easy by producing this approachable wine from the heart of Haut-Medoc, the area of Listrac. Here is a blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, followed up with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot. A wine with a beautiful dark color that is an open invitation to the dark fruit that plays on the palate. Fruit is the key character for this wonderful wine from Lalande, but there is a fine tune sense of smooth tannins that hold the structure together and have the wine blossom with a little bit of air-time. |
