| Description: | 70% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc, and 10% Muscadelle. Fermented in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing in 100% new oak barrels for 18-24 months. One of the sweeter styles of Sauternes, now at 10 years of age its sweetness is "mellowing." James Suckling (from barrel): "Intense aromas of dried pineapple, honey and tropical fruit. Full-bodied and superdense, with masses of fruit. It goes on and on. Seductive. Fantastic." |
