After cutting his teeth on Pinot Noir in 1999 with fruit from the Keefer Ranch vineyard in Russian River, Ehren began seeking out Pinot Noir sources to capture the essence of California's coolest wine growing regions. Ehren Jordan is a man committed to understanding the vines and the wines through their relationship which is only conducive to being present as they all grow together. Light garnet color to the rim with aromas of savory sage, clove, and potpourri. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins. Upfront hints of animal musk, nutmeg, and cinnamon. As we move towards the finish the wine displays ripe black cherry, spice, umami, and saddle leather.
