Trinity Oaks Chardonnay

Trinity Oaks Chardonnay

Description: Trinity Oaks Chardonnay was produced from a blend of 50% coastal grapes (Monterey and Santa Barbara counties, including the winery's Los Alamos Vineyard in Santa Barbara), 44% Sacramento Delta and Lodi region grapes, and 6% Napa Valley grapes, all estate-grown. Fifty per cent of the juice was cold-fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel tanks, while 50% was oak-fermented and aged. Trinity Oaks Chardonnay has a fresh, bright aroma of apples and citrus, with a delicate floral note of honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and silky, with similar flavors enhanced by crisp acidity and a touch of oak. This well-balanced, elegant Chardonnay makes an ideal accompaniment to fish and poultry dishes, salads, and vegetarian entrees. Region Description. California produces the majority of wine made in the United States. Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir dominate the wine production in California, but many other varietials thrive in the California climate. Many fine wines are produced in California using Mediterranean grapes.
