Geographical Location: Veneto – Italy Northeast of Verona, in the hill that divides Montorio from the Valle d'Illasi. Extension: 27 hectares of modern guyot vertical trellis + 8 hectares of traditional. "Pergola" + 20 rented hectares in guyot vertical trellis. Plant date: 1960 to 2015. Composition of the soil: Calcareous with red clay and tufo. Strains per hectare: 6500 in trellis and 4500 in Pergola. Harvest: From August 3rd to October 10th. Yield per plant: 2 kg. Vingate climate: A fairly regular year both in terms of rainfall and seasonal temperatures,. even if summer confirms the drought and heat trend of the last four years.
