Juicy and textured with a polished, rich core of fruit and spice. Flavorful, long finish.". This blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Grenache has a delightful nose, pure and very precise. Notes of ripe cherries, plums, spices and balsam, intertwined with aromas of Arabica coffee, pipe tobacco, underbush, lavender and fresh violets. At the bottom of it all, this Reserva red wine has a constant mineral beat. Palate Meaty, expressive and delicately warm, this Rioja Reserva shows some top-class fruit, which has been enhanced by a masterful ageing process, in the form of Eastern spices, cedar, balsam and undergrowth remembrances. Smooth and palate-coating, with mild tannins and a crisp acidity. Fresh and life-affirming, this wine of Bodegas Roda has a long finish with some remembrances of clove, vanilla and Havanna cigars. |
