Red Blends & Other
Vintage: | 2009 |

Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: A palindrome is a word or phrase that is spelled the same both forward and backward. Tannat is a red wine grape historically grown in South West France in the Madiran AOC and is now one of the most prominent grapes in Uruguay, where it is considered the "national grape." The grapes for this Tannat come from both Yolo and Solano Counties, where the weather is optimal for creating softer tannins in the finished wine. "You can cage a swallow, can't you, but you can't swallow a cage, can you?" Much easier to swallow than a cage, this awesome palindrome should get your palate excited, from front to back and likewise. Fresh cappuccino and dark chocolate, rich blackberry command the aromas with flavors followed by ripe blueberry and rose hips. |
