The rocky soils and slate-rich slopes breed aromas of black cherries, Thanksgiving cranberries, and red plums that never make it all the way to tart red fruits. Aromas of baking spices, mocha, wet leaves, and mountain herbs open to a silky texture and medium weight on the structure. Mencia doesn't get any better for under $20. |
