| Description: | I'm a huge fan of the Kendric Pinot Noirs from Marin County, and this is my favorite vintage yet. Dark, woodsy, and almost foreboding, this wine will continue to develop in the bottle for a number of years. Notes of forest floor and the distinct aroma of a mountain town at night, long after the last chairlifts have closed, lead a rich, deep, and rustic undertone that belies the softer, brighter fruit that await once this wine has opened up - be sure to decant this wine for at least 45 minutes. Supple tannins make this wine even more intriguing. Aged in 23% new French oak. 600 cases produced. |
