Winemaker NotesThe aromatics are amplified-akin to dried apricots, lemon oil and even green tea oil. Site specific aromatics such as baked red apples, hints of jasmine, and flint give the wine an organic sense of place. The palate, most notably, has incredible grs with powerful cut and length. The 2012 Lauren is naturally clear with green chlorophyll-like tints on the edge. It will age on a very slow path, and by my assessment should drink well for 7-10 years.
