| Description: | A personal project from winemaker Giampaolo Venica whose family winery is regarded as the finest in the Friuli region. This is a 50/50 Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend showing crisp dark fruits. Aged in large oak casks and stainless steel, the mulberry, blackberry, plum and black cherry are familiar, but they maintain a fresh-picked purity. Only tiny amounts of vanilla and cedar box appear on the palate, which is incredibly well-balanced. |
