| Description: | Since 1995, Larmandier has made a Blanc de Blancs called Terre de Vertus, released as a brut nature, without any dosage. The Terres de Vertus is technically not a single-vineyard wine, but it comes from a single terroir, grown in three adjacent parcels totaling 2.5 hectares, located on the chalky side of the village along the road to Le Mesnil: Les Barilles, Les Faucherets and La Vieille Voie. It has always come from a single vintage, but in the past, it was released slightly too early to qualify for a vintage champagne, so it didn't carry a date on the label. Beginning with the 2007 release, it's been labeled as a vintage-dated Champagne. |
