| Description: | Our Kilkerran 16 was a welcome addition to the core range in 2020, and continues to be released annually. With each annual release the maturation can vary slightly, giving us a fresh take on the 16 year old with each year. Nose We are welcomed to this dram with notes of Iberico ham on the nose, along with notes of tinned pineapple, green apples and demerara sugar. Palate The palate has a coastal note reminiscent of the seaside and shingle beaches, along with hints of lemon yoghurt, ground pepper and a touch of peat smoke. Finish There is a freshness in the finish and the peat smoke influence endures in notes of toasted marshmallows. |
