| Description: | This white port is a light golden color with fresh citrus fruit and peach aromas. It features a hint of almond nuttiness from the oak aging. Made from a blend of Gouveio, Rabigato, Viosinho, and Moscatel Galego grapes harvested from exclusive Class A parcels (Pousado, Vale de Moinhos, Serra de Cotas) totaling 3.5 hectares of poor schist soils. The grapes are hand-picked, partially destemmed, and fermented using indigenous yeasts and some skin contact. The fermentation process is stopped with 77-degree grape brandy. The wine is aged in a combination of old tonel or balseiro (large wooden tanks holding 3,000-60,000 liters with thick staves that slow down oxidation) and classic Port pipa (horizontal casks with thinner staves promoting oxidation).
