| Description: | Biologically farmed and carefully harvested, the rose from Zweigelt is a saignee rose that Ewald Gruber ferments in steel and bottles in January. Like with all Gruber Roschiz wines, Ewald's focus is on bringing perfectly ripe and clean fruit into the cellar, which in turn can only be achieved by creating sound micro biology in the vineyard. Once pressed, the wines at Gruber Roschitz are left to do their own thing. Here at Gruber Roschitz each wine is classic in style but shows an unmistakable influence from this careful and natural work in vineyard and winery, one that results in wines with character, phenolic expression and longevity without losing varietal typicity. |
