The 2022 from Zahel is a dry white wine made from a field blend of: Grner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Traminer, and Chardonnay. It has a fragrant nose of white flowers, citrus and a hint of stonefruit. Super racy, and crisp, this white is bright and light on the palate, with a clean finish. Serve chilled. Alcohol: 12%. Winemaker Notes: "This Gemischter Satz from Vienna is crafted using six varietals (Grner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Traminer, and Chardonnay), grown in vineyards within the city limits located at an elevation of 330 meters above downtown. Grown in a field blend and picked at the same time, the grapes are then fermented together with native, wild yeasts, to create this vibrant, dry white wine." |
