| Description: | 90-92 Jm / 89-91 Bh. Hail followed the frost here, so a very small production of one and a half barrels instead of six or seven. A fine red purple. The bouquet is more expressive, slightly riper fruit according to the nose. Excellent intensity on the palate with a stricter finish, some white pepper, strawberry and redcurrant fruit, fair length. Drink from 2025-2030. Tasted: November 2022.-Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy. Note: from the Brochon side. Tasting note: An ultra-fresh nose freely reveals its airy and distinctly cool aromas of red currant and forest floor. The middleweight flavors aren't as dense but they're finer with excellent precision on the dusty, compact and youthfully austere finale that needs to develop more depth.-Allen Meadows, Burghound |
