For all intents and purposes the Vietti Perbacco is a declassified Barolo. Aged approximately 2 years in oak and blended in steel tanks prior to bottling, this wine offers up a mid-weight style perfect for food pairing. With generous fruit and spices, this wine shows complexity and elegance without giving up any of its intensity of dark fruit, spice and licorice. This wine would be the perfect choice for hearty stews, roasted red meats and aged cheeses. |
