| Description: | The nose is rich and rounded with scents of flambed brown sugar, wood smoke, mesquite, butter cream, mixed stone and tropical fruits and grilled meat. The sweet, smoky spice really came up after a few minutes in the glass (okay, even now I'm salivating a tad). Viscous and sweet in the mouth, mixed tropical fruits are surmounted by burnt sugar, banana peel and baking spices; a touch of heat comes up in the finish with more wood spice but it's a pretty easy go as a sipper. -TS |
