Winemaker François Millet thins his crop to optimize flavors through reasonable yields. He ages 30-40% of the Grands Crus in new oak barrels, a move that emphasizes earth and fruit flavors instead of spicy wood aromas. This Musigny is from an incredible 6.46 ha parcel, which doesn't include the.67 ha parcel planted to chardonnay. |
