A rainy growing season made Penfolds' makers to source this wine carefully; the ‘11 bottling is composed of the best grapes from mostly the Barossa Valley, with some McLaren Vale fruit; the wine ferments in stainless steel and ages in American oak for 18-20 months before bottling. |
