| Description: | Frapin is based in the town of Segonzac, in the heart of the Grande Champagne region of France. The Frapin family was established in the area in 1270, initially as a family of wine-growers. Evolving into distillers, the Frapin family have continued on in this tradition for over 20 generations making their home in the Grande Champagne Region of Cognac and establishing their headquarters in the Fontpinot Castle at Segonzac. The Frapin, Grande Champagne, Very Superior Old Pale (v.s.o.p) is a lovely presentation of this family's tradition and history. The bouquet shows interlacing fruit, soft white flowers, nutmeg and well integrated spice supported by tactfully amalgamated vanilla. The palate carries these aromas congruently deliberating them as well balanced flavors. The finish is immanently about finesse, finely fading with refined testimony of the flavor and a lively residual warmth. This is tasty cognac to be enjoyed neat or respectfully in a spirit forward cocktail. |
