The grapes are hand-selected and harvested and foot-tread in granite vats; aged for 12 months in used French oak and a minimum of 12 months in bottles. Ripe dark fruit, cassis and blackberry, with notes of tobacco, pepper, and smoke. Prominent, ripe tannins on the palate lead to a bright finish, with hints of black olive and dried herbs. |
