| Description: | Organically Farmed. Nero d'Avola & Perricone. This red passito comes from vines that were cloned from the family's old Nero d'Avola and Perricone vineyards in the low mountains of central-weastern Sicily. The grapes are sun-dried and gradually added in a long fermentation process. Once fermentation is done for one batch, the wine is aged 7 months in wood before bottling. The result is a deliciously complex, balanced and authentic Sicilian dessert wine!. Vinous 93 Points - " Dried black cherries, red plums, sage, dried orange peels and a dusting of crushed rocks create a deeply alluring bouquet as the Nv (2021 Harvest) Rosso Passito opens in the glass. It's silky-smooth with racy acidity and ultra-ripe wild berry fruits accentuated by autumnal spices and traces of dark chocolate.
