| Description: | Biodynamically Farmed. A Rosso di Montalcino that shows the youthfully expressive side to the warm hills in the highly-prized wine region. Exudes a warm, sunny perfume of ripe, plump red cherry and blue fruits (like plum) dance along with diffuse floral accents, sun-warmed clay earthiness and baking spice. Expansive & juicy up front, framed by soft, large-gained tannins providing gentle grip on the palate; sun-kissed spiced fruits and a gently drying finish will make this a star at the dinner table. For this bottling, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and ages for 12-15 months in oak cask. |
