| Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: Rancho La Mula ("the mule") is part of the original ranch of Don Felipe Camarena, its average elevation is 2,085 meters above sea level, the land almost flat. The field is free of trees and the agave rose were planted in a north-south direction, providing the agave full exposure to the sun, all day long. The agave was 6.5 years old at the moment of harvest, overripe with a few brown spots on the "pina," with a significant sugar content above 30%. Nose: Nutmeg, pine nuts, praline, bitter chocolate, cinnamon, cooked agave, cooked red apples, cardamom, chai tea. Palate: Full of cooked agave, red apples, fresh ginger, sea salt and light black pepper. |
